Daniel Shurz, Head of Revenue, Network, and Enterprise Planning

Daniel Shurz joined JetBlue in April 2024 as head of revenue, network, and enterprise planning. He is responsible for all aspects of JetBlue’s network strategy, airline partnerships, sales and revenue management, and enterprise planning.



Prior to JetBlue, Shurz served for nearly 12 years as senior vice president, commercial, at Frontier Airlines responsible for network planning and scheduling, revenue management, distribution, e-commerce, ancillary revenue and marketing. He was previously the carrier’s vice president, strategy and planning for nearly three years.



From 2005-2009, Shurz worked at Air Canada as director, business development before being promoted to vice president, network planning.



Earlier in his career, Shurz was general manager of bus operations at the Chicago Transit Authority, and manager of domestic network planning at United Airlines.



Shurz is a graduate of the University of Cambridge in the U.K. and holds an MBA from The University of Chicago.
